Welcome delegates of the ‘Gold Coast on Show' familiarization tour to be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 - 2 June 2008.

Julie Whelan from Ecosure will be attending the ‘Gold Coast Partners Education Program' on Monday afternoon to provide delegates with information on how you can organise a Carbon Neutral Event.

Carbon Neutral Events

Ecosure is experienced in calculating the carbon footprint for events and facilitating the purchase of accredited offsets. The footprint calculation can include the greenhouse gases associated with the office preparation for the event, travel to and from the event, accommodation, food and catering and the emissions associated with the actual event itself. Ecosure successfully calculated the carbon footprint of the ‘Ibis National Conference 2008' in order to offset all associated greenhouse gas emissions.

ecoBiz Trained Facilitators

Ecosure has a team of trained facilitators under Queensland's Environmental Protection Agency ecobiz program. This program is designed to assess and improve the eco-efficiency of business and industry.

Carbon Auditing and Reporting

Ecosure can undertake an audit of the greenhouse gas emissions associated with your company or a particular project and prepare a report on the findings.

Carbon Management Plans

Ecosure prepares action and management plans to reduce and monitor greenhouse gas emissions.

Carbon Offsets

Ecosure facilitates the purchase of accredited offsets such as those approved under the Australian Government Greenhouse Friendly scheme and GreenPower accredited renewable energy projects.
